 Air Cadet Summer Training Program
 
Summer training occurs for 6 weeks from mid July to mid August. Due to the different                      2020 Summer Contact Officer
duration of the courses offered, there are different intakes for each course. An example                          ??? TBA ???
would the Basic Training Course that is 2 weeks in duration and will thus have 3 separate           Email: 
intakes during the summer. For Basic Aviation, since it is 3 weeks in duration, there will be
2 intakes. Each intake begins at different times and the squadron has no control of which                    

 intake your child will be participating in. Your Cadet will only be eligible for ONE course
 per summer.

Due to this restriction, when applying for summer training, your child MUST be available for the entire duration of the course.

There are a series of courses available for cadets to participate in based on their level. 

 
Level 1 - General Training Course - GTC (2 Weeks)                                                              

Level 2 - Basic Drill and Ceremonial Course  - BDCC (3 Weeks)                                           
Level 2 - Basic Fitness and Sports Course - BFSC (3 Weeks)                                                
Level 2 - Basic Survival Course - BSC (3 Weeks)                                                                 
Level 2 - Military Band - Basic - MB BMC (3 Weeks)                                                                    
Level 2 - Pipe Band - Basic - PB BMC(3 Weeks)                                                                          
Level 2 - Basic Aviation Technology and Aerospace Course - BATAC (3 Weeks)                 
Level 2 - Basic Aviation Course - BAC  (3 Weeks)                                                                                  

Level 3 - Drill and Ceremonial Instructor Course - DCIC (6 weeks) 
Level 3 - Fitness and Sports Instructor Course - FSIC (6 weeks)
Level 3 - Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor Course - ARMIC (6 weeks)
Level 3 - Survival Instructor Course - SIC (6 weeks)
Level 3 - Military Band - Intermediate - MB IMC (6 weeks)
Level 3 - Pipe Band - Intermediate - PB IMC (6 weeks)
Level 3 - Advanced Aviation Technology - Aircraft Maintenance - AAT AM (6 weeks)
Level 3 - Advanced Aviation Technology - Airport Operations - AAT AO (6 weeks)
Level 3 - Advanced Aerospace Course - AASC (6weeks)
Level 3 - Advanced Aviaion Course - AAC (6 weeks)
Level 3 - Glider Pilot Scholarship - GPS (6 weeks)

Level 4 - Military Band - Advanced - MB AMC (6 Weeks)
Level 4 - Pipe Band - Advacned - PB AMC (6 weeks)
Level 4 - Power Pilot Scholarhsip - PPS (7 weeks)

Level 5 - International Exchange - IACE (2-4 weeks)

2 week Courses - GTC 3 - 5 Aug to 18 Aug
3 week courses - BATAC 2, BSC 2, BAC 2, MB-BMC 2 - 29 Jul to 18 Aug
3 week Flying Courses - AAC 2 - 24 Jul to 12 Aug
6 week courses - 8 Jul to 18 Aug
6 week Flying courses - GPS - 3 Jul to 12 Aug
7 week Power Program - PPS - 3 Jul to 19 Aug
